The 29th of October will be a special evening celebrating the great tradition of Italian violin making. Violinist Naoya Yoshida will be the protagonist of a unique concert in which he will play six new Italian violins, all crafted by Alberto Giordano.
The instruments, supplied by Shimamura Music, share a distinctive feature: they are all modelled on the Guarneri del Gesù. A fascinating and ambitious choice, allowing the audience to hear the different tonal nuances and interpretive dimensions of instruments born from the same inspiration yet each with its own character.
The Guarneri del Gesù model, celebrated for its power, depth, and richness of tone, represents one of the supreme expressions of the Cremonese luthier tradition. Through the hands and artistic sensibility of Naoya Yoshida, these six violins will come to life, offering an intense and deeply moving listening experience.
